How to make Cranberry Orange Chocolate Cookies
My holiday baking will always consist of cranberry, orange, chocolate, nuts, and ginger. I make sure; my cupboard is fully stocked up on these ingredients way before the holidays start.
These cookies are full of holiday flavors and taste amazing. Orange + cranberry + chocolate combo will always complement each other: you cannot go wrong with them.
You can also add some chocolate chips or any chopped nuts to this cookie dough.

Like most cookie recipes, this recipe is easy to put together.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix to combine. Chill the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes.
To yield a soft and chewy texture, bake the cookies for about 12 minutes. If you like a crispier texture, bake them for about 14 minutes.
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and weigh your ingredients.
Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cornstarch, and cocoa powder in a medium bowl.
In a large bowl: add the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, orange zest, vanilla extract, orange juice, and egg. Whisk well until combined.
Next, add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until combined.
Lastly, fold in the dried cranberries.
Cover the cookie dough with a cling wrap and chill it for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 325F/ 163C.
Scoop 1 tablespoon full of cookie dough and gently roll them in your palms and place them on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 325F/163C for 12- 14 minutes.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before you place them on a cooling rack.
Once cooled, melt the cream and white chocolate together.
Drizzle melted white chocolate on top of the cookies.
Serve with a warm cup of milk, tea, or coffee.

- 1 cup packed/ 220g brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons orange zest
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoon Orange juice
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup / 100g dried cranberries
- 100g white chocolate
- 1 Tablespoon of whipping cream/milk
